Hospitality

The ip.buffer can provide a useful link in hotel and hospitality solutions.

A full range of facilities allows for protocol conversion across the LAN/WAN/Internet with strong security protecting the data stream.

The ip.buffer can be used to glue PMS and PBX systems across the WAN/Internet. Socket connections from the ip.buffer can be set to "outbound" so that on-site firewalls do not need modification.

Powerful scripting provides for stand-alone functions within the ip.buffer, allowing communication back to the PBX or to other connected hospitality systems.

By using the optional POTS/PSTN and 3G cellular modems you can provide a fall-back mechanism even when the primary broadband connection is down and increase the level of availability. Remote administration is also possible by dialling into the modem — to gain access to all ip.buffer functions.
